Colliding worlds….

I don’t really see a lot of cross-over between my “work” (aka, research) life and my hobbies, but there are always exceptions. Interestingly enough, it’s looking like there’s some cross over with knitting….one of my reference papers (for a proposal) is titled – “Yarn Design for Functional Tissue Engineering”
And several other papers use fiber design and knitting (yes, knitting) as design methods for engineering replacements for certain tissues…. anterior cruciate ligaments (ACL) to be specific.
