Even the tooth fairy is out to get me

Posted by quirksalight on October 18, 2007

To continue on how this blog is morphing into a medical litany, a part of my tooth broke off yesterday. Had not a clue – thought to myself while brushing, “Whoa, that’s a big chunk of food that got stuck!” Nope. A part of the rearmost upper right molar had broken off, taking a part of the metal filling with it. Didn’t even realize it until later in the day when my tongue feels a hole in that tooth. Great….. someone please tell me how the filling breaks when it’s surrounded by the tooth?

At least it’s not too major – didn’t hit the nerve, just need to fix the filling.
